PrepToolkit passwords are required for Non-PIV users in combination with a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) code emailed to the user during sign-in. The following password rules are enforced:

Must be between 8-64 characters in length
Must not be the email address of the registered PrepToolkit account
Must not contain commonly used passwords (e.g., "Password", "12345678", etc.)

All authentication requirements are based upon alignment to the 21st Century Integrated Digital Experience Act, which is supported by the NIST 800-63B standard in accordance with DHS 4300A and OMB-M-22-09.
